Built for reading on the go
Sections are parsed into short, readable passages sized for a phone. The full browser view adds a section rail and a traceability panel beside the text.
Concept in development
Load a paper by DOI and read it as sections rather than as one long file. The same structure mapping that supports editorial work is used here to make a paper readable on a phone, with references, figures and tables traceable as you read.
This page shows a concept in development. The interface below is illustrative, uses sample content, and is shared to describe the intended reading experience rather than a released feature.
Reading surface
Enter a DOI, and the paper opens in a reading view. Move between sections, follow a citation where it is made, and open a figure or table in context.
Coherence windows under repeated sampling in engineered biosystems

Framing and prior work
Why the question matters and what has been established already.
Coherent transport in engineered biosystems has been described repeatedly, but the stability of the second window remains contested . Earlier surveys treated the effect as a sampling artefact .
This paper addresses that gap by holding the sampling interval fixed and varying only the window boundary, the arrangement shown in .

Sections are parsed into short, readable passages sized for a phone. The full browser view adds a section rail and a traceability panel beside the text.
Each section is labelled with the role it plays in the argument, and the sentences carrying the section's main content are underlined so orientation takes seconds.
Open a citation and the reader sees the source, the DOI and each section where that work is cited, with a link to each one, so the back and forth between sections takes a tap instead of a search.
A figure or table can be kept open while reading any section, alongside a list of every passage that refers to it. That removes the need to print a figure separately to keep it in view.
Where this is heading
The intention is to extend the viewer so readers can create an account and add papers to a Readmy Library. Papers kept there could be annotated in full, with notes held against the passage they concern so reading continues across sessions and devices.
Accounts, annotation and the library are planned work, not available yet.

Scope
Papers Viewer is a reading surface. It presents published text as its authors wrote it, with structure made easier to follow. It does not assess whether content is correct, novel or of value, and it does not stand in for peer review. The editorial workbench and the insight layer are described on their own pages.
