Terms of use

These terms cover this website only. They are written for a site that is still changing, because the instrument it describes is still being tested and validated.

01Acceptance

By using this website you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please stop using the site.

02Who publishes this site

Readmy® is part of the InnoQlar® Group family of products, but it is operated and governed separately. This site, and the Readmy model it describes, is owned and operated by Form Quantum. InnoQlar Group does not govern Readmy and is not a party to these terms. The site is published in connection with work commissioned by the Journal of Quantum Biosystems Engineering.

03A site in development

Everything here is general information about an instrument under active testing and validation. Descriptions of behaviour, outputs, terminology and availability are indicative and will change without notice. Nothing on this site is a specification, a warranty, a contractual commitment or an offer of service.

Readmy is being developed with the Journal of Quantum Biosystems Engineering (JQBio), where it is being tested and optimised. This responds to a real need for technology in editorial processes, developed responsibly, since editorial offices are accountable for the timely and accurate publication of scientific research. Readmy does not replace peer review, and it issues no editorial decision; it acts on the bottlenecks in the process, as described on the product pages.

Any manuscript material referenced or demonstrated on this site is used only where its authors have already consented to that use through the commissioning journal's own submission process. That consent, and the blinded way manuscript text is handled, is described in full in our privacy policy.

No public product

Readmy is not a consumer tool and is not open for general use. Access is granted by request and agreement with journals, editorial offices and institutional research offices.

04Permitted use

You may read, quote with attribution and share these pages for research, editorial and evaluation purposes. Please quote the site as it stands on the day you read it, since the content is revised regularly.

05Not permitted

  • Presenting Readmy as a service you can offer, resell or provide access to without a written agreement.
  • Attempting to derive, reconstruct or infer the underlying logic, models or method from the demonstrations shown here.
  • Extracting content from this site, systematically or otherwise, to train or fine-tune any automated or machine-learning model.
  • Automated scraping, stress testing or interference with the site.
  • Using our names or marks in a way that suggests endorsement or partnership.

06Intellectual property

The Readmy model, its method, the interface designs shown here, and all text, illustrations and marks on this site are owned by Form Quantum unless stated otherwise. The Readmy® name is used under the InnoQlar® Group family of marks. The demonstrations are illustrative interfaces built for this site, not the product itself.

07What Readmy does not do

Readmy does not judge truth, novelty or worth, and it issues no accept or reject recommendation. It maps structure so a reviewer knows where to look. Editorial decisions remain entirely with the people making them, and any use of the output is their responsibility.

08Liability

The site is provided as it is. To the extent permitted by law we exclude liability for loss arising from reliance on information published here, including editorial decisions taken in reliance on it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

09Site disclaimer

This site is general information published while the instrument is being tested and validated. It is not a finished product, a specification, an offer of service, a business opportunity, or investment, legal or editorial advice. All content and marks belong to Form Quantum or its licensors. No liability is accepted by Form Quantum, its affiliates or its partners for decisions taken in reliance on this site.

10No offer and no advice

Nothing here is an offer of service, an invitation to invest, a business opportunity, or legal, regulatory, scientific or editorial advice. No partnership, agency or joint venture is created by reading it.

11Consumer rights

If you use this site as a consumer in the United Kingdom or the European Union, these terms do not affect your statutory rights, and you keep the right to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence where local law gives you that right.

12Third-party links

Links to journals, institutions or other sites are provided for reference. We are not responsible for their content or their policies.

13Privacy and cookies

Use of this site is also governed by our privacy policy and cookie policy, which form part of these terms.

14Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, subject to the consumer rights section above.

15Amendments and contact

We revise these terms as the work develops, and the current version is the one published here. Enquiries go through the journal commissioning this work, at jqbio_pub@innoqlar.com.
